Arvhie is a Cum Laude graduate of the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines with a liberal arts degree in philosophy. Currently, she is pursuing her Juris Doctor degree in the same university.Arvhie works as a paralegal in Leflegis Law Firm. She also takes on the role of a legal intern in the Office of the Solicitor General of the Republic of the Philippines.Further, Arvhie is a paralegal volunteer in Free Legal Assistance Group - the oldest human rights lawyers network that promotes and protects civil rights and freedoms in the Philippines.
As a human rights advocate
Arvhie has a heart for human rights and social justice which she advocates through mobilization, campaign, education, and research. She usually works with different sectors ranging from the academe, non-government organizations, civil society organizations, environmental defenders, journalists, women and youth.
As a community leader
She is the Executive Vice President and Co-Founder of the Philippine Society of Law Students, the National President of the Samahan ng Kabataang Boluntaryo ng Pilipinas, the Former Vice President for Training, Exchange, and Development of the Asian Law Students Association - Philippines, and the Former National Director for Education and Research of the Youth for Human Rights and Democracy.Arvhie also belongs in the alumni network of CIMB Young ASEAN Leaders, Asia Pacific Youth Exchange, and Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative.
As a public speaker
She loves speaking to a wide range of audience, but mostly to young people. Her areas of interest are: Human Rights, Democracy, Civic Engagement, Peace, Social Justice, Governance, Youth Leadership, Gender Equality, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
As an artist
Arvhie is a self-taught artist who typically uses various media such as rubber paint, charcoal pencils, and watercolor. She used to participate in art exhibits and even taught basic art concepts and skills to children. Today, she does it as a hobby.
Beyond her online persona
Arvhie is known for her diverse passions: from visiting museums, hiking mountains, collecting vintage items, cooking new dishes, and learning about the world's cultures and cuisines. She considers herself as a lifelong learner.
